Blood Flow Restrictive Therapy
BFR has been called a “game changer” in the world of sports rehab and is currently in use by the medical and training staffs for the NFL, NBA, MLB as well as many high level NCAA programs. The type of BFR training in use at Catz is the same medical grade FDA approved device used at the professional level. Training with the BFR cuff allows for muscle hypertrophy, Growth Hormone release and increased VO2 Max, all at very low loads.
Our efforts are not to just get you back to your favorite activities after you’ve had orthopedic surgery for a shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee or ankle injury, but better. Whether you’ve had a hip, knee or shoulder replacement due to arthritis or injury, we can help you recover safely and quickly so you can be active again.
A custom orthotic is a device designed to align the foot and ankle into the most anatomically efficient position. They look like insoles but are biomechanical medical appliances that are custom to correct your specific foot imbalance.
Baseball Arm Care Program
This is a special program designed with baseball players in mind. Its purpose is to monitor the throwing athlete throughout the year with quarterly check-ups to address risk factors associated with common throwing injuries, and to provide a plan of action to help maintain the strength and mobility essential for a healthy season.
WHAT OUR PATIENTS SAY
"I came to CATZ after a spinal fusion and after 3 years of PT limping and in pain. While my right leg atrophied, my previous PT place tried to help me walk but failed. At CATZ, I knew right away I would run again. I did more my first day at CATZ than in a month previous. They pushed me to my limit and knew where that was better than I did. It took me long to find them, but luckily I did because, while I’m not completely recovered, I have accomplished more than I thought possible a year ago."
